Challenge: Originally, we were called to help straighten out a do-it-yourself Pay-Per-Click campaign. However, we informed the owner that driving potential customers to the current website would not result in many – if any – phone calls, because the site left such a poor impression of the company and, by extension, its workmanship.
Fortunately, the owner agreed, and so the original challenge was to re-design this existing Web site:
Solution: We did extensive research on what words and phrases people used when searching for gutter cleaning, repair, and seamless gutter installation. Then, after talking things over with the owner, we developed a sitemap that categorized what they were looking for that his company offers. With the site organized and the language determined, we designed and wrote the website – and also created a new logo to replace the poor one presently in use. We programmed the site so changes could be made without programming help (CMS), and ensured all allowable Search Engine Optimization methods were used. As another service, we traveled to different Princeton Gutters installations to photograph the exceptional work done by this company, and included it all on a Gallery page.
The result is a hard-selling website that is found by searchers all over the company’s service area. Once “organic search” took hold, we then were able to properly set up the Pay-Per-Click campaign.
Beyond website design, logo design, and SEO/PPC services, we have since helped Princeton Gutters in many other ways, including Local Search, truck wrap design, and collateral materials.
