Challenge: To create a business-to-business website for a wildlife photographer, targeting zoo personnel, as a landing spot for new business trade shows, direct mail, and email sales campaigns (search engine optimization was not wanted, to limit interaction with non-targeted consumers). The goal was to encourage trade queries and purchases of the photographer’s image collections for U.S. gift shops.

Solution: We optimized and uploaded hundreds of photographs into different galleries, adding sales copy to each page to encourage interest. We also emphasized eco-friendly printing and donations to purchasing organizations to further incentivize orders. The site was enthusiastically received by zoo personnel, and while greeting cards and the like are difficult to sell into gift shops, orders came in from prestigious organizations such as the Oakland Zoo, Binder Park Zoo, and Atlanta Zoo.
